Our curriculum works to inspire high school-aged girls in Morocco to explore careers in physics, biology, chemistry, computer science, and more. Through hands-on experimentation, Camp Alima helps ignite excitement and curiosity for STEM fields.
Each day of camp concludes with leadership-building exercises designed to boost self-confidence and encourage young Moroccan women to seize opportunities before them. Through activities like speed debates and pitch competitions, campers step out of their comfort zones, fostering boldness and self-assurance.
Camp Alima is an entirely volunteer-run organization connecting students and young professionals across the U.S, Canada, and Morocco. Additionally, we host panels each year comprised of successful women in science and business to engage with campers and create a lasting network for future networking opportunities.
