Each summer, Camp Alima brings together high school girls from across Morocco for a transformative week of hands-on STEM learning, leadership development, and mentorship. Campers discover new interests, strengthen their problem-solving abilities, and build lasting confidence through engaging, collaborative experiences. By the end of the program, campers leave with both practical technical skills and a stronger belief in their own potential. At Camp Alima, we go beyond teaching science—we empower young women to see themselves in STEM and to pursue their ambitions with confidence.
Each day at Camp Alima blends hands-on STEM exploration with intentional leadership development. Campers start with interactive lessons that introduce core concepts, then immediately put their learning into practice through guided experiments and real-world challenges. Throughout the day, they collaborate with peers, exchange ideas, and tackle problems that encourage creativity and critical thinking. Dedicated leadership sessions help students build confidence, strengthen communication, and develop teamwork skills. This well-rounded experience not only deepens their interest in STEM, but also equips them with the mindset and abilities needed to thrive in their future academic and professional journeys.
